About Us

The NHL Alumni Tour is a series of approximately 30 games that take place across Ontario each winter. Some of hockey’s greatest heroes come together to square off against different teams, including local law enforcement and corrections officers. We are also thrilled to have the Canadian Women’s Hockey League All-Stars on the tour this year to take on the Alumni. Each game is exciting and unique, with a skills competition that will keep you on the edge of your seat and on-ice gags that will keep you in stitches.

Most games are played in support of different local charities and non-profit organizations. They’re fun family events and great opportunities to give back to the community by supporting great local causes. Please scroll down for more information about this year's Participating Partners.

The NHL Alumni Hockey Tour presented by Scotia Bank is produced, promoted and brought to you by Mystique Event Marketing. For more company details please visit www.mystiquemarketing.ca. Mystique Event Marketing is proud to be associated with the NHL Alumni Tour for nearly 20 years.

Camp Maple Leaf

Camp Maple Leaf is a summer camp for children, age 8 to 15, located in the Kawarthas on a 104-acre island. It was founded in 1955 by World War II veterans and serves as a living memorial to their service.

Camp Maple Leaf enrollment fees are paid for through fundraising and other donations, offering underprivileged children an opportunity to have a unique summer camp experience. Their week-long stay is full of fun and adventure, as well as a focus on self-confidence, self-esteem, respect, and friendship. Since its inception, over 30,000 kids have benefited from their experience at Camp Maple Leaf.

The Camp is currently undergoing a construction project to add a new area for military families with children to reconnect with each other after returning from duty. The new facilities will be open year-round and will be mostly unstructured and self-paced. It’s a way to pay homage to Canada’s military families.

Help a Child Smile

Help a Child Smile is dedicated to bringing joy into the lives of children with cancer. HACS was founded in 1987 in honour of Kacey Lynn Rainville, whose wish to go to Wonderland inspired family and friends to “Help a Child Smile.” Since then, it has helped or is currently helping over 800 families with children being treated at McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton. HACS provides assistance for lower-income families with needs that OHIP won’t cover. It also arranges activities for the kids, fundraising events, and trips to Wonderland and Florida.

Run by various police professionals – including police officers, corrections and support staff, and volunteers – the LETR raises funds and awareness through many different community events. Kidsport

KidSport Canada is a non-profit association that helps families with sports enrollment and equipment costs, so that kids from lower-income families have the opportunity to participate in organized sports. Through a confidential application process, they provide grants so children can play one season of their chosen sport.

KidSport aims to promote physical fitness, self-esteem, self-confidence, friendship, and teamwork for all children across Canada. They are active in 11 provincial/territorial chapters and 177 community chapters. KidSport’s goal is that no child should be left on the sidelines because cost is an obstacle.
