Nicknamed “The Hammer†for his tough, physical style of play, he played for 18 seasons with the Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia Flyers, Buffalo Sabres, New York Rangers,
In 1994, he played a huge defensive role for the Rangers in the playoffs and helped them win the Stanley Cup for the first time since 1940.
He is currently an assistant coach for the Manitoba Moose.
