History of Hockey Magazine!
We are pleased to announce our first annual History of Hockey magazine in support of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario. This new magazine will feature nostalgic inside stories of our greatest hockey players in history. Due to COVID-19 we are facing uncertainties with our 2020-2021 tour schedule and government restrictions may prevent us from being able to bring an old-timers game to your community. As a result of the scheduling uncertainties, we would like to share this magazine with you to shine a light on the incredible local businesses that sponsor and support this great cause along with personal hockey stories, interesting facts about players from your community as well as Canada’s hockey history.
Playing For A Cause
The NHL Alumni Tour is a series of approximately 20+ games that take place across Ontario each fall and winter. Some of hockey’s greatest heroes come together to square off against different teams comprised of local law enforcement representatives. Each game is exciting and unique, with a skills competition that will keep you on the edge of your seat and on-ice gags that will keep you in stitches.
Games are played in support of different local charities and non-profit organizations. They’re fun family events and great opportunities to give back to the community by supporting great local causes.
